We are excited to have Chris Krehmeyer join us to discuss the work of Beyond Housing.  Throughout his career, Chris , who grew up in University City, has been instrumental in making communities better places to live.  Today as president and CEO of Beyond Housing, he works to build and support thriving communities by helping provide affordable housing and create economic development.

Beyond Housing is truly a grassroots organization with a holistic approach to improving a specific community and an unmatched ability to partner with many other organizations to maximize its impact.  Through three comprehensive and innovative community development programs; Service-Enriched Rental Housing, Homeownership Services, and Community Engagement, Beyond Housing annually helps to improve the lives of more than 5,000 people.

From health and nutrition programs to leading edge personal finance initiatives, Beyond Housing meets communities exactly where they’re invited to help according to the needs the community has identified.

Much of Beyond Housing’s current work is place-based in the boundaries of the Normandy Schools Collaborative where it helps stabilize and improve the housing stock, aids families in finding and obtaining educational, employment and support services, builds community leadership capacity, and promotes economic development.  Its work has included a focus on the Normandy school district where it has addressed issues of health, education, housing and more.

Please join us to learn more about Beyond Housing and the impact Beyond Housing has had in our St. Louis community.  You can attend in-person in the sanctuary or virtually in the coffee hour zoom meeting.
