Litter Pick Up

Saturday, May 15, 2021 - 9:30am to 11:30am

Join us for a litter pick-up on Saturday, May 15 at 9:30 am!

For liability reasons, this activity is limited to adults only. Also, due to the Covid19 pandemic, please adhere to the following participation requirements: 1) each person should be fully vaccinated, and 2) masks will be required.

First U. is responsible for doing litter pick-ups along Forest Parkway between Big Bend and Skinker Boulevards four times a year. You may have noticed the St. Louis County Highway “adoption” signs with our name on them along the preceding segment of the road! This location is especially significant to us since it is adjacent to the main campus of Washington University, which was founded by our Unitarian “ancestor,” William G. Eliot.

On the morning of the pickup, we will gather in the parking lot north of Snarf’s (360 N. Skinker Blvd.) at 9:30, where the sign specifies parking for "Grace Methodist Church and Snarf’s."

Those interested can remain afterwards for lunch together at Snarf's. They have a large, outdoor eating area available and serve delicious sandwiches, soups, etc.

Please let Tom Crouch know by Friday, May 14, if you can help. Thanks!
