The next canvassing will be August 18. We will meet at church to canvass at 10 AM. For those who have not been trained, please contact me or Cathy Rauch and we can figure out a time to brief you.
The goals of the canvassing are to 1) engage the community in our neighborhoods, so that we can build a grass roots coalition going forward, and 2) inform people about upcoming elections and get out the vote, primarily targeting people who might vote for the initiatives we are supporting, CLEAN and RUM. (August canvassing will be after the primary, so Prop A will have already been voted on.)
