Advocacy Workshop -- Child Initiatives in St. Louis, Sunday, April 28th, (12:15pm in the Chapel)
Member Charles Kindleberger will lead a discussion on the challenges faced by disadvantaged kids in the St. Louis region and some of the initiatives that have recently been launched. First Unitarian has a rich tradition of helping children in the St. Louis area. This session will be useful in thinking about how that tradition can continue and grow. Charles is a member of Mentor St. Louis, and on the board of Vision for Children at Risk and St. Louis Artworks.
