Acknowledgement of the Native People Who Were Here Before Us Statement of Conscience.

We acknowledge the fact that our Church occupies  what was once the home of the  Osage NationOtoe-Missouria, Kickapoo,  QuapawHo-ChunkMiamiIllini Confederacy and other tribes who were unjustly removed and who still continue to face injustice today. We stand in solidarity with them, and we celebrate their continued resilience. To make this a meaningful expression of our concern for Native People, we will make an annual donation to a Native cause and continue to educate ourselves about our Native neighbors and the struggles they continue to face.
