This is a fun, informal way to meet and mingle with people here at First Church. On the third Wednesday of every month, church Members and Friends gather at the church to spend a fun, relaxing evening together. Here’s the typical schedule:
5:30 p.m. – People eat dinner together in Fellowship Hall; a light meal of sandwiches, salad and/or soup is available at a nominal cost or you may bring your own dinner.
6:30 p.m. – Gather in Hope Chapel for a short vesper service – a great mid-week reminder to calm our busy minds.
7:00 to 8:30 p.m. – Activities throughout the church. Participants can choose from a variety of offerings, including book readings by local authors, a yoga class, chess and board games, a Book Talk with the Library Committee, topical presentations by Members, Knitting Ministry, a Mom’s Discussion Group and more.
